Rimage’s AutoEverest 600 comes furnished with a 400-bin carousel and the Everest 600 Printer. The carousel itself has a 300 disc input capacity and the remaining bin space is used for output. Each input bin is used until its supply is exhausted; when the first bin is empty it becomes an output bin. By rotating bins the AutoPrinter can deliver up to 300 discs without you having to do a thing. The Rimage AutoEverest 600 also features state of the art Producer series robotics driven by a closed loop servo motor system and a protected, toothed belt. The picker moves on roller bearings and slide rails and uses only a couple seconds to achieve each movement. The mechanism is steel and is able to pick from a plane of 85° - 95°. This machine also comes with CD Designer, software which allows you to create professional quality artwork for your discs. The software has a complete set of file import capabilities, text creation applications, and even bar code generation. Rimage AutoPrinters are the clear choice for anyone wanting to produce professional quality CDs without wasting time or money.

The AutoEverest 600 uses an enhanced version of Rimage's original thermal retransfer printing technology, which enables users to create unique, colorful, high-resolution labels bonded directly to the surface of CDs and DVDs. Enhancements include increased color accuracy, added software and hardware functionality, and enhanced ribbon communication. The result is a combination of unmatched reliability, longer print runs, and print permanence, all with the industry's lowest cost per disc. This machine is absolutely essential for many retail, medical, banking, and finance applications.

The Everest 600 also utilizes the Rimage patented retransfer printing process. CMY panels are first printed to a clear, internal retransfer ribbon. Then, using pressure and heat, the image and a layer of clear ribbon are pressed onto the disc. The finished product is dry, sturdy, and ready to handle. You will get a colorful, high resolution, disc with your choice of text, bar code, graphics, or photos in less than one minute.

In addition to all the fast and reliable hardware features, the Rimage AutoEverest 600 also comes with CD-Designer label creation software. This software allows you to import any graphics and text for use in your custom CD labels. Features include data merging capabilities, serialization, and bar codes. Compatible with Macromedia®, FreeHand®, Adobe® Illustrator®, Adobe® Photoshop®, QuarkExpress®, and CorelDRAW® this printer will easily fit into your current design set up.

The Everest 600 uses pigmented ink ribbons that produce UV protected artwork with vibrant colors that will last the lifetime of the disc. Finished products will pass any light or dashboard test you devise and because the ink is not water based, Everest 600 discs never smear or smudge. The Everest 600 prints are so durable, they don’t even scratch off! Discs used for commercial distribution will withstand the rigors of day-to-day consumer handling.

AutoEverest’s 600 variable dot technology means the dots composing your images vary in size. This creates sharper graphics with greater detail. In addition, the MicroDry ink is a dry technology made up of a thermal resin that contains pigment. The resolution is so fine that dots per inch, or DPI, is not an accurate measurement of the print resolution. A better gauge is lines per inch (LPI) where The Everest 600 truly shines. 85-120 LPI is the typical resolution for silk-screen printing and 150 LPI is standard for magazines. The Everest 600 prints labels at 600dpi! That is better than silk-screen!

The Everest 600 is capable of full color printing, mono-color printing, white media, and silver media. Your finished product will out do the competition with full color, realistic images, and special effects or save you time and money with economical black and white production. The Everest 600 can deliver up to 1000 discs with no operator intervention, ideal for long printing runs. The printing ribbons come on user friendly carriage so when a ribbon change is required, it can be done in less than a minute with no hassle.

NOTE: Perfect Print feature not available on the Rimage Auto Everest 600. See Rimage Auto Prism III.
